BOX manufacturing have 2 complete SMT in-line process lines, comprising TYCO stencil printers, TYCO placement machines and 6 & 8 zone ovens (designed lead-free solder compatibility). The TYCO placement machines also incorporate fully automatic vision systems for excellent placement repeatability. These are complemented by 2 through-hole lines with lead-free wave solder capability.

Supporting the above lines is a Yestek automatic optical inspection (AOI) system and a Teradyne 1800 ATE machine both providing visual inspection and test capability.

In addition we can offer the following associated processes:

• Conformal Coating – providing enhanced protection against humidity
• Potting – for greater water resistance & IPR protection
• Mechanical assembly – BOX can offer both manual & semi automatic solutions
• Final testing – carried out to customer requirements and can include the provision of a bespoke platform
